Location: Clover Leys Spencer Academy, Boulton Moor, Derby, DE24 5AX
Hours: up to 20 hours per week during term time (with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week during holiday clubs if desired)
Operational Hours during Term Time: Monday to Friday, 7:30–9:00 and 15:30–18:00
Holiday Clubs: 8:30–17:30, Monday to Friday
Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour (plus holiday pay)
Contract: Casual
Note: Our term-time role covers staff sickness, staff holidays and busier sessions; more permanent hours may be offered when available. We place you in a Derby club closest to your home address where possible.

Responsibilities
* Plan and execute structured and engaging activities that encourage participation (e.g., multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play). Activities should be age-appropriate.
* Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies, including sign-in and sign-out processes.
* Provide refreshments for the children.
* Set up and pack away play spaces, moving furniture and equipment as needed.
* Maintain safety and hygiene standards and conduct regular checks on equipment and kit.
* Lead in health and safety matters and provide first aid where necessary.
* Keep information and documents related to the children confidential and secure.
* Ensure proper sign-in/sign-out procedures for all children in our care.
* Communicate professionally with team members, parents, children, and schools.
* Maintain documentation, including accident and incident forms, up to date as needed.

* Share responsibility for maintaining child privacy and secure records.
Requirements
* Compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) policy.
* Exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 where applicable.
* DBS check will be conducted on your behalf; you must provide two references (one from your most recent employer and one from a childcare setting if applicable).
* Prepare the correct documentation for the DBS check and recruitment process.
