Salary: £55,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking a UX Designer with proven experience and a strong portfolio that includes web application UX. You should be proficient in visual design and wireframing tools such as Figma (or similar). Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design improvements is essential. Familiarity with A/B testing and analytics tools such as Google Optimize, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Crazy Egg, MouseFlow, or Hotjar is also required. We value strong problem-solving skills and a creative yet pragmatic approach. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary, as you will work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you should have experience working with development teams to deliver production-ready designs. A full UK driving licence is required. Responsibilities: As a UX Designer, I will collaborate with the Development Manager and Product Owners to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience. I will conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points. Additionally, I will analyze user activity and data patterns in collaboration with the Data Analyst to inform design decisions. My responsibilities will include designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and both low- and high-fidelity mock-ups. I will prototype design concepts in Figma, iteratively testing and refining them based on feedback. Close collaboration with developers and testers will be crucial to ensure design accuracy through to production. I will outline UI guidelines, themes, and build UI toolkits for desktop and responsive/mobile. Identifying both quick wins and long-term design solutions aligned with business goals will also be part of my role. Promoting accessibility and inclusive design principles, ensuring compliance with WCAG guidelines, will be a key focus.
