Pre-Sales Technical Consultant (Video)

Commutable distance to Winchester / London with a view to being onsite once a week
Role Overview
The Pre-Sales Consultant, reporting to the Pre-Sales Manager, will provide specialist technical input into bid proposals, projects, and technical documents, and identify opportunities to support existing customers.
As an expert in your area, you will have significant experience working within the Broadcast industry, with the ability to produce innovative designs and cost-effective solutions. Collaboration with sales, technical, engineering, and operational teams is essential, as is confidence working directly with customers.

Responsibilities
* Provide technical input into bid proposals and projects, supporting existing customers
* Collaborate with customers and sales teams to develop solutions that meet or exceed expectations
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members and customers
* Utilize market intelligence to inform strategic projects
* Engage with product teams to develop solutions and business opportunities
* Ensure design compliance with technical standards and best practices
Candidate Profile
* Experience with Video compression, Digital TV standards, IP and fibre Networks, VOD, Streaming, IP Security
* Proven ability to design solutions and prepare cost estimates
* Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
* Leadership qualities and experience in driving continuous improvement
* Experience in satellite datacomms
* Active research into emerging technologies and market trends
* Knowledge of Playout, OTT solutions, and Cloud environments
