The team have considerable experience in setting up bespoke full-service claims handling and risk management services for clients - especially for those in the retail sector. A forensic approach supported by in depth knowledge of the sector has seen the team enjoy great success in helping clients reduce accidents and claims, and thus, has seen significant financial savings for clients.
Your new role
Our client is seeking an experienced qualified solicitor (4+ years PQE) to join a growing team whose comprehensive claims handling and risk mitigation service is tailored to limit costs, time and stress. You will be expected to proactively lead cases, identifying key issues to set strategy and progress matters efficiently with a meticulous eye for detail.
Exceptional client care is paramount to success in this position - building rapport, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring clients receive the support, clarity, and empathy needed when navigating complex or sensitive matters.
The role requires strong drafting skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work accurately under pressure to meet KPIs.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a senior multi-track solicitor who has a minimum litigation experience of 4+PQE in handling Defendant EL and PL claims with high-quality service
Proven ability to run defendant personal injury matters independently, confidently navigating complex intermediate and multi-track cases
Previous experience leading/assisting with higher value catastrophic injury claims valued over £1,000,000 is necessary
Similarly, experience of running a varied defendant EL/PL workload from a retail perspective is also seen favourably
To be a proactive individual who remains calm under pressure when managing a high volume of caseloads, whilst still maintaining excellent levels of service
To possess unparalleled client care standards, whereby clear, commercially sound written and verbal communication are delivered with professionalism
Experience liaising with medical experts, counsel, investigators and other partners in the litigation process
To be a collaborative team player, with an approach to ongoing learning and professional development, whilst supporting colleagues and contributing to shared team goals
