We are working in partnership with a high-profile client in the music and entertainment sector, seeking a commercially minded and analytically strong Senior Investment Associate to join their Investment, Analytics & Strategy team.
This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic investment function, supporting both live transactions and the ongoing performance of a growing portfolio of music-related assets under management (AUM). The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, including C-suite leadership and external investment partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the execution of the investment pipeline through financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence.
* Prepare high-quality investment materials and presentations for internal decision-makers and external stakeholders.
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of regular asset performance reporting, including quarterly reviews and forecasts.
* Maintain and enhance post-investment tracking tools such as dashboards and performance models.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Data, Rights Administration, Legal) to optimise asset performance and strategic value.
* Review and contribute to analyst work product, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
* Work alongside senior team members to identify opportunities for portfolio optimisation and long-term value creation.
* Engage with external advisors, including lawyers, accountants, and business managers, to support investment execution.

About you
* Strong financial modelling skills and experience with investment metrics and valuation methodologies.
* Demonstrated exposure to financial models and investment committee (IC) materials.
* Prior experience in an investment, finance, or professional services environment (e.g., investment banking, private equity, consultancy).
* Experience in and knowledge of the music industry is essential.
* Proficiency with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau).
* Experience mentoring or onboarding junior team members.
* Prior exposure to third-party investors and fund structures.
