Gartnavel General Hospital Estates Department seeks a highly motivated, enthusiastic, resilient, and hardworking Maintenance Multi Skilled Shift Electrical Technician. The role involves maintaining a wide range of building services plant and equipment, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of systems.
The successful candidate will:
* Operate and maintain safe building systems, ensuring quality and value for money in maintenance, repair, and installation services.
* Inspect faults in plant and machinery, recommend repairs, and discuss potential impacts with managers and department heads.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance, complete work requests, and maintain accurate records.
* Adhere to NHS GG&C Health and Safety and SHTM policies and procedures.
* Undertake minor alterations and modifications to existing services.
* Organize and prioritize daily workload efficiently.
Qualifications required include:
* Recognized and registered EITB or CITB (or equivalent) craft Electrical Apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification, with extensive relevant experience, preferably in healthcare.
* An HNC or equivalent qualification in a core subject, with additional skills as needed.
* Training to become a certified Electrical Competent Person may be required.
