Bar & Kitchen Assistant – Norwich Airport
Flour & Bean is an independently run Norfolk business. This role is within our Norwich Airport Bar & Kitchen and Coffee House concessions.
We are seeking passionate hospitality professionals to join our growing team at our Norwich Airport Bar & Kitchen and Coffee House from early March.

Main responsibilities?
We all work together as a team – everyone helps everyone and will learn and participate all aspects of the FAB Bar & Kitchen working life;
-Delivering first class customer service
-Preparing and serving high quality coffees, cocktails, and beverages
-Taking orders using EPOS software
-Communicating effectively with other sections
-Preparing and serving food
-Upholding and participating in all aspects of legal compliance and hygiene standards
-Assisting with stock replenishment and rotation
* Supporting branch managers and colleagues to give the best experience to our customers, and assist in the smooth running of the branch.

What you'll need to get started:
To work in an airport environment, you will need to complete security pass assessments comprising of 5-year work/ education dates reference check, a basic DBS, and an airside security test. All costs are covered by the employer. You will also be given the opportunity to complete a Personal Licence for the service of alcohol which will be a qualification for life, paid for by the employer.
Experience:
-Previous Barista experience advantageous
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic cooking skills are a plus
* Availability for some weekends, some early mornings, and some evenings required
