The successful candidate will become a part of this dynamic and friendly MR Physics team, providing scientific support to sites across Wales.

You will play a key role in the group’s mission of developing a centre of excellence for clinical-scientific MRI service provision and research.
You will be a registered Clinical Scientist or close to completing your training (STP or Route 2).
Main duties of the job
We are seeking to recruit a band 8A physicist to join our team. Within Radiation Physics, we are part of a large Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering department and we have excellent links with Swansea University, which is the academic centre for medical physics STP trainees from all across Wales. We provide MR physics services to sites across Wales, including to the Institute of Life Science in Swansea University, supporting a mix of GE and Siemens scanners.

6. MSc in Medical Physics or equivalent
7. Registration with HCPC as a Clinical Scientist (Medical Physics)
8. IPEM MRSE certificate of competence
9. Good level of theoretical and practical knowledge across MRI physics
