Information about the Certificate Coordinator in Chief AI Officer role:
Global Alumni is seeking a Certificate Coordinator in Chief AI Officer to accompany participants throughout the program to support participants learning experiences by facilitating co-curricular events and generally serving as a resource and point of continuity for participants. The Certificate Coordinator will also follow their progress by working closely with the instructional assistants. The Certificate Coordinator will also be invited to attend the in-person experience on campus and a certificate awarding ceremony for participants who successfully complete the certificate (which may be part of the in-person experience or may be online, depending on scheduling). While attendance at the in-person experience is encouraged, it is not mandatory, and all travel expenses would be covered by individual Certificate Coordinator.
This is a great role for someone who wants work flexibility and the chance to diversify their resume with consultancy and teaching experience. This is an independent contractor position in a remote setting.
Responsibilities of the Certificate Coordinator in AI Officer include:
Intro webinar towards the beginning of the certificate (We can invite the faculty director to attend)
# Three Networking Sessions:
Objectives: Provide opportunities for participants to reflect on their progress and to link concepts between courses, get feedback from participants and provide a structured way for participants to connect and network professionally.
Share-outs and discussion among participants, moderated by the Certificate Coordinator Duration of each Networking Session: 60 minutes.
# Program team or faculty director can engage speakers or recommend book or article
Give students opportunities to engage with thought leaders and/or emerging literature about field
Discussion among participants, moderated by Certificate Coordinator
Respond to questions/comments that are not related to active coursework (the courses instructional assistant should field these)
Generally, maintain conversation and community.
# Review courses content to understand what topics they study. This should help to generate discussion ideas for networking sessions.
10+ years of extensive work experience in the field of AI or any related field.
~ A bachelors degree is required; plus, a masters degree is preferred in one of the following fields, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, IT or Data Science.
~ Solid background or deep understanding of artificial intelligence technologies, platforms and tools.
~ Strong knowledge to align AI initiatives with strategic business objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
~ Strong knowledge of software development and an understanding of AI infrastructure.
~ Ability to anticipate future AI capabilities and their business impact.
~ Strong ethical awareness to successfully lead AI initiatives.
~ Experience supporting executive or mid-career professionals in continuing education is highly preferred.
~ Ability to translate technical content into actionable insights.
~ Comfortable in an online environment, navigating LMS platforms (Canvas), Zoom, Slack, or similar environments.
~ Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage weekly cycles of engagement and support.
As AI reshapes industries, organizations continue to invest in advanced technologies and create roles like the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) to centralize AI integration and manage risks. However, despite growing AI investment and the rise of roles like CAIOs, many organizations struggle to align AI with business outcomes. In response to this complex landscape, this program equips participants with enhanced skills to merge technical expertise with business acumen so that they can drive strategic AI initiatives that produce meaningful impact for the organization. By the end of the Program participants will emerge from the program as an even more effective business leader, to get buy in from and forge alliances with others in the C-suite and become stronger AI leaders.
