Administration Assistant, Doncaster
We have a great opportunity to join our Environment and Safety Division as an Administration Assistant. SOCOTEC provides a comprehensive range of Environmental and Occupational Hygiene Consultancy services to help companies fulfill their legal obligations. Our network of regional offices provides national coverage, while our in-house accredited laboratories ensure the utmost integrity and quality of results.
As our company grows and develops, we are expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
We are looking for a reliable, flexible, and committed Administration Assistant to join our Environmental team. It is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently.
Key Tasks:
* Assisting technical staff with the preparation, formatting, and issuing of reports to ensure deadlines are achieved
* Entry and formatting of technical data into reports
* Checking and updating calibration status of equipment
* Monitoring and updating spreadsheets used to track job progress
* Liaising with contractors and clients on site
* Scheduling of works
Success Criteria:
* Experience in some, or all, of the tasks listed above, or a willingness to be trained
* A “can do” attitude
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines
* Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
* Excellent communication skills

Our Environmental team comprises specialists operating across different areas, including Environmental Monitoring and Consultancy, supported by specialist laboratories. Our services range from on-site monitoring and sample collection for various clients, to consultancy on large contaminated land projects, and onsite works for dust, noise, and emissions. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide comprehensive services to support our clients’ needs.
