Travel beyond the agreed base will be reimbursed.Role Overview:We are recruiting a committed and people-focused Employment Coach to support individuals across Berkshire to move into meaningful, sustainable work as part of the Connect to Work programme.You will manage a caseload of up to 25 customers, providing personalised, structured support that helps individuals overcome barriers, build confidence, and secure good-quality employment. You will develop strong employer relationships, promote inclusive recruitment, and deliver ongoing in-work support to ensure customers thrive in their new roles.This is an opportunity to be part of building a values-driven team that delivers high-impact outcomes for residents across Berkshire.Key Responsibilities:Customer Support & CoachingCreate tailored, person-centred action plans and ensure all activities are delivered effectively.Provide regular one-to-one support and check-ins with customers, pre-employment and post-placement.Support customers to develop confidence, skills and capability through constructive challenge, motivation and coaching.Address personal barriers to employment with practical guidance and problem-solving.Deliver high-quality In-Work Support to promote long-term job sustainability.Employer & Partnership EngagementPromote customers as strong candidates to local employers.Actively engage employers to identify and create opportunities, advocating for inclusive recruitment practices.Facilitate work trials, placements and shadowing opportunities where appropriate.Build and maintain strong relationships with partners across Berkshire to deliver a joined-up service for residents, employers and stakeholders.Programme Delivery & ComplianceIdentify and recommend training or vacancy solutions aligned to customer needs.Maintain accurate and compliant case records meeting quality and contractual expectations.Build strong local knowledge of signposting pathways including disability support, benefits, housing and mental health services.Meet all performance targets, KPIs and compliance measures.Contribute to a high-performance culture rooted in integrity, collaboration and positive outcomes.Essential Criteria:Passion for supporting people and a solution-focused approach.Experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment including disabilities or health-related challenges.Background in delivering one-to-one coaching or support with the ability to challenge constructively.Proven experience building networks and partnership relationships.Strong organisational skills, including caseload management.Able to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends.Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection standards.Desirable Criteria:Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for community delivery.Experience helping individuals secure and sustain employment.Knowledge of supported employment models (e.g., IPS).Degree or equivalent experience in target-driven roles such as recruitment, sales, customer service, or case management.Understanding of the local labour market.Experience supporting individuals with welfare, benefits, mental health or physical health challenges.TPBN1_UKTJ
