The Role
1. Working in a busy workshop environment using a range of hand tools such as brake press, welding equipment, guillotine, drills, and bandsaws.
2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
3. Supporting the fabrication process and learning the procedures within a metal fabrication environment.
4. Maintaining high-quality standards while working towards productivity targets.
5. Keeping the working environment clean and tidy.
6. Providing support to the wider team as required.
7. Carrying out Quality Control checks as needed.
8. Adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations.
The Candidate
1. Experience with fine limit sheet metal.
2. Ability to operate equipment such as brake press, welding tools, guillotine, drills, or bandsaws.
3. Skills in folding, cutting, and punching sheet metal.
4. Welding skills are highly beneficial.
5. Ability to read engineering drawings and follow work instructions.
The Package
Offering up to £31,200 per annum plus unlimited overtime and flexible working hours.
