Micheldever Tyres is looking for an analytical and customer focused
National Accounts Manager
to manage existing and new customer relationships, developing sales opportunities and to drive profitability to support the delivery of the MFS (
Micheldever Fleet Services
) strategic goals. Supporting the operations team to deliver exceptional customer service, manage existing customer relationships and development of new business to achieve the MFS sales and profit plan. Drive sales through direct relationship with customers, supporting direct sales activity and dealing with questions from customers.

: £45-50 DOE (OTE £65-70K)

About the role:
* Support the delivery of the annual sales and profit plan
* Daily management of the customer relationship
* Develop strong customer understanding and relationships across the customer's business
* Customer reporting in line with customer and internal demands/agreements
* Ensure MFS delivers on every customer SLA and contracted requirement.
* Answering queries and questions raised by the customer in a timely manner
* Ensuring customers sales and profits are in line with the tender business case
* Developing new sales opportunities with existing customers
* Negotiation of customer contracts – new and renewals
* Communicating and managing customer price changes
* Monthly internal reporting as required
* To highlight and identify where positive changes can be made to improve service, process or customers experience
* To be able to communicate reasons for change in a positive and effective way for teams to understand the reasons and to be supportive of the changes
* Technology – Being open to how technology can support the business product and offering
About you:
* Track record of delivering budget beating sales performance
* Proven ability to manage, analyse and improve methods to optimise the Fleet market
* Proven background in account management and sales development in the fleet market
* Previous experience of successfully managing and developing a team
* Demonstratable contract negotiation skills at a senior level
* Excellent negotiation skills aimed at forging solid partnership with customers and service providers alike
* Strong leadership, talent development and team building skills
* Customer focused, business partnering approach to managing business relationships, working towards achieving common goals through teamwork

Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres. Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees - company wide.
To support this business, we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing. This is achieved by skilled, focused and determined teams across 1 central distribution and 13 warehouse operations nationwide.
