Miyabi Nursery (Miyabi Yochien) is the UKs only Japanese-English bilingual nursery, located in the heart of West London. We combine the calm, respectful, and thoughtful traditions of Japanese nurseries with the creativity and play-based learning of the British EYFS.

Your Role
We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team. You will play a key role in maintaining staff-child ratios, delivering high-quality care and learning experiences, and ensuring every child thrives.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver inspiring activities rooted in the EYFS, balancing British creativity with Japanese respect and structure

Foster a safe, calm, and positive learning environment where children feel secure and confident

Support each childs individual journey through accurate observations, assessments, and next steps

Model and promote Miyabi values: kindness, cleanliness, and empathy

Build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues to support childrens development

Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety at all times

Requirements Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

Experience working with children aged 2-5 in a nursery or early years setting

Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding principles

Professional, positive, and calm under pressure

Willingness to embrace our Japanese-influenced approach to care and behaviour

Desirable :

English as a native language (Japanese is not required)

Interest in Japanese culture, language, or early years philosophy (not essential)

Experience in bilingual or international settings
