Location: Barkisland, West Yorkshire (primarily office-based with flexibility for remote working subject to contract)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Starting Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Arboricultural Consultant to join our experienced team. This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the chance to lead on all aspects of arboricultural consultancy work, from initial site visit to final reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out detailed tree surveys and site assessment across the UK.
* Produce professional consultancy reports, including:
* BS 5837:2012 Trees in Relation to Design, Demolition and Construction
* Tree condition and risk assessments
* Subsidence investigations
* Liaise confidently with clients, local planning authorities, and other stakeholders.
* Produce site plans using CAD and occasionally GIS software.
* Stay up to date with industry standards, practices and developments.
* Attend workshops and training sessions if required
Requirements
* Minimum Level 4 qualification in arboriculture or a related field.
* A sound knowledge of arboricultural law, tree risk management, TPOs, and trees in relation to planning & development.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CAD/GIS systems.
