Restaurant Manager
to lead our front-of-house team and uphold the standards that define our star.
Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience that aligns with Michelin standards. This individual will lead, train, and motivate staff while collaborating closely with the Chef Director, Adam Bennett and ownership to maintain the restaurants reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently across all service periods
Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house team members in providing attentive, intuitive, and knowledgeable service
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hospitality, and professionalism
Collaborate with the Chef Director and kitchen team to ensure fluid coordination between FOH and BOH
Monitor guest feedback and handle any complaints or special requests with discretion and care
Develop and implement SOPs in alignment with Michelin star expectations
Manage reservations and guest flow to optimise experience and table turnover without compromising quality
Oversee scheduling, payroll, and staffing requirements
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Maintain inventory and work with vendors to ensure quality and consistency in service-related products
Stay updated on industry trends and Michelin criteria to ensure ongoing excellence
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years
of fine dining management experience, preferably in a Michelin-starred or equivalent establishment
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Deep understanding of wine and beverage programs; sommelier certification is a plus
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering perfection
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Familiarity with POS systems, reservations platforms (e.g., OpenTable), and basic financial reporting
Passionate about hospitality, food, and creating unforgettable guest experiences
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
