Job Description: Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Join our team at Hayton Coulthard Transport Ltd as a Customer Service Operator at our busy Twynholm depot.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with customers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Build strong customer relationships while managing a variety of administrative tasks.
Respond promptly to queries via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
Work in partnership with other departments across the Hayton Coulthard business unit.
Navigate and utilise multiple internal and external IT systems effectively.
Prepare and update spreadsheets as requested by customers.
Communicate daily with internal teams, external customers, and drivers-both verbally and in writing.
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with full training and ongoing support.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Solution-driven and flexible approach to work.
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Hours : Initially, you will work 09:00hrs - 18:00hrs, Monday to Friday with the hours later transitioning to 08:00hrs - 17:00hrs, Friday to Monday.
