The role

Interim Deal Support (Outside IR35)

£450–£550 per day | Outside IR35 | Swindon (1–2 days per week) | Start ASAP

RB16626

Finatal is delighted to be partnering with a private equity-backed health education platform that is embarking on an ambitious buy-and-build growth strategy. Backed by a highly supportive investor group, the business has an active acquisition pipeline and is seeking an experienced interim professional to provide deal support across ongoing and prospective transactions.

Working directly with the CFO and engaging regularly with investors, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the evaluation, execution, and integration planning of acquisitions. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual with a strong transaction services background who is looking to gain broader exposure within a fast-paced, acquisitive business environment.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing financial due diligence processes across active acquisition opportunities
  • Reviewing and challenging due diligence findings and identifying key risks and opportunities
  • Building and maintaining acquisition, valuation, and scenario models
  • Supporting business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Assisting with investment papers, board presentations, and investor reporting
  • Working closely with the CFO to assess strategic acquisition opportunities
  • Supporting integration planning and post-deal performance tracking
  • Liaising with external advisors, lenders, and private equity stakeholders throughout transactions

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have:

  • ACA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Background in Transaction Services, Deals Advisory, Corporate Finance, or M&A Advisory
  • Experience gained within a leading accountancy firm
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to operate independently within a fast-moving environment
  • A commercial mindset and desire to work closely with senior leadership teams

This opportunity would be particularly well suited to someone making their first or second move from Transaction Services into industry and looking to gain hands-on exposure to an active private equity-backed buy-and-build environment.
