Fundraising Manager
The Lippy People Charitable Trust
Salary:£12000. Based on £30,000 pro rata
Hours: Part-time – 15 hours a week, with the potential to increase hours as funding becomes available.
Location: Leeds / home working.
Contract: 12 months from October 2025, with a desire to extend with new funding secured.
The Leeds-based advocacy, video story and coaching charity Lippy People is seeking to employ an experienced and dynamic Fundraising Manager for the ‘Life, Loss, Learning & Legacy’ (4L’s) project.
The 4L’s supports the bereaved, people experiencing life-changing health conditions, and people at the end of life to ‘celebrate lived experience’ by sharing their stories of the learning and legacies they take from their formative life experiences, especially loss.
We therefore seek to employ a talented and experienced individual who is:
● A proven fundraiser within small charities from diverse funding sources;
● Has the skills and experience to create and craft compelling proposals and appeals that successfully engage new and existing supporters, in order to attract at least £150K of funding a year;
● Committed to the value and impacts of diverse lived experience storytelling and the transformational potential of their stories;
● Motivated and proven to be able to deliver new and appropriate sources of funding while working under their own initiative.
Lippy People became a charity in 2015 and the post of Fundraising Manager is critical to how we grow a sustainable 4L’s service beyond the current National Lottery Reaching Communities funding, which ends its current cycle in October 2026.
The post is initially part-funded until September 2026. There is an opportunity to increase the hours and the remit of the position, and to sustain the role beyond this time, by successfully working with the team to use the learning to date as a lever for the 4L’s growth.
The post will begin on 6th October (or as soon as the successful applicant is available to start).
For application details or to arrange a chat about the post, please contact Dave Tomalin – dave@lippypeople.org
Deadline for applications: 23rd July 2025 (at noon)
