Chase Taylor Recruitment are working with a successful local business within the window industry who pride themselves on their reputation. They have been supplying and fitting both to the trade and public for almost years and are looking to expand their team.
We are currently seeking an experienced order processor whose primary focus will be working with their Installation Manager.
The successful candidate will be able to ensure that all works are completed to strict deadlines and to an acceptable quality and standard.
Role Responsibilities include:
1. Plan and schedule upcoming works for installation teams
2. Process customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring all details are correct.
3. Ensure all orders comply with manufacturer requirements and building code standards.
4. Submit finalised orders to vendors and manufacturers for fulfilment.
5. Track order status and proactively update customers and internal teams on lead times and delivery schedules.
6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our database.
7. Coordinate with shipping to ensure timely and correct delivery. Including unloading of lorries and efficiently storing items
8. Uphold excellent phone etiquette while interacting with customers, providing a professional and friendly service.
Candidate Skills & Experience:
9. 1–3 years of experience in order processing, data entry, or inside sales, preferably in the windows and doors industry.
10. Must have current/recent experience Order Processing windows and doors
11. Ability to read and interpret product specifications, purchase orders, and basic construction documents.
12. Have excellent customer service skills
13. Be able to manage own workload
14. Excellent attention to detail
15. Must currently reside in the UK
16. Experience of working within the double glazing industry is essential.
