Overview
Paediatric Dietitian role based in East Sussex, delivering clinical nutrition and dietetic support to paediatric patients across acute and community settings including paediatric ward, special care baby unit and outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities
* Manage a paediatric clinical caseload across a range of conditions in acute and community settings.
* Support development of new resources and improvements to the paediatric dietetics service.
* Attend meetings and training across East Sussex as required; driving/own car is essential for the role.
* Be part of a friendly, supportive team and participate in supervision and ongoing professional development, including opportunities for post-graduate funding where identified in appraisal.
* Independently manage and treat paediatric patients under supervision of the Lead Paediatric Dietitian when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* HCPC registered Dietitian.
* Ideally a minimum of 12 months general dietetic practice within the NHS as a Band 5 Dietitian; interest in paediatrics with progression to Band 5-6 for career development.
* Enthusiastic team player with a focus on paediatrics and collaborative care.
* Willingness to work across multiple sites in East Sussex (Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill, Uckfield).
* Full driving licence or access to a vehicle is essential to fulfil the role.
