We are currently recruiting for a full-time HGV Class 2 Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our team here at Robb Brothers Wine Merchants. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate. The main roles involve assembling customer orders, ensuring accuracy and delivering the picked pallets to customers in off-sales, restaurants and public houses. Job Type: Full time, Permanent Schedule: Day Shift, Monday to Friday May include overtime during busy periods of year Responsibilities To assemble orders accurately in a timely manner To shrink wrap each pallet as its being assembled To label/identify each pallet correctly To ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures To clean up any breakages/damages and report to warehouse manager To load van daily with the correct pallets for your run To deliver goods in an efficient and courteous manner To check all goods onto customers premises & to complete all relevant paperwork To report any issues to warehouse manager during deliveries To perform daily vehicle inspection checks To be able to plan routes efficiently To be reliable, polite and friendly and remember good customer service is vital as the face of the company Qualifications & Key Skills/Experience Essential Maths and English GSCE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills Eligibility to work in UK Full UK driving licence HVG Class 2 Licence 6 months experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Must be able to work in a quick and efficient manner Good communication skills Good team member with a flexible and can-do attitude Desirable Fork Lift Licence Good geographical knowledge Benefits 28 days paid holidays Excellent rate of pay Work uniform Company pension Private on-site parking Job security Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Driving: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Driver CPC (preferred) Musgrave is an equal opportunities employer.
