The job itself
Little Weighton Rowley Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint a full-time nursery nurse to join our team, ideally from July 2026. Applicants must have a ‘full and relevant’ qualification as identified by the DfE. A job share may be considered. Please contact the school to discuss.
The role will involve working in our FS, Y1 and Y2 class, mainly supporting our younger FS1 and FS2 children, leading maths and phonics groups, planning, preparing and maintaining play-based provision within the indoor and outdoor Foundation area.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, caring individuals with a commitment to supporting teaching and learning for all, within a nurturing environment. Ideally you will have experience of working within a school nursery/reception setting.
Experience of working alongside outside agencies such as the Speech and Language Service, occupational therapists, Sensory and Physical Therapy Service (SaPTS) would be advantageous.

In this role you are required to speak English with sufficient fluency to effectively perform your duties, as required by Section 42 of the Immigration Act 2016.
