Job Details
Location: Peterborough (Fully onsite initially, transitioning to hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12 months (with strong potential for extension)
Pay Rate: GBP14.15 per hour (PAYE)
Responsibilities
* Account Management: Act as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing the entire order lifecycle from setup and entry to tracking and logistics.
* Issue Resolution: Own and resolve complex customer inquiries and escalations through detailed research and cross‑functional collaboration.
* Compliance and Documentation: Ensure accurate records are maintained and that all export/shipping documentation complies with relevant legislation and policies.
* Quality Liaison: Act as the bridge between customers and manufacturing locations for any quality or non‑conformance claims.
* Reporting: Prepare and distribute standard and customised internal and customer reports.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Customer Order Management (COM) or Customer Service (CS) role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Solid understanding or affinity for technical environments and processes.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
* Sharp eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex tracking and quality management systems.
* Full‑time position requiring 5 days per week onsite during the initial training period, with the expectation to evolve into a hybrid model (2 days remote per week) later on.
* Eligible to live and work in the UK.
