The Role
As a Senior Assistant Commercial Manager, you will provide commercial support across a diverse Business Portfolio or across multi-disciplined Integrated Capture / Delivery Teams as required in accordance with the established commercial strategy
Day-to-day, you’ll contribute to our Business Winning strategy, which includes all aspects of legal (T’s and C’s), pricing, Intellectual Property and negotiation, in addition to contributing to effective and efficient contractual management of contracts within the portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for all aspects of commercial support including customer bidding and contracting, risk management, change control, contract and document drafting, and dispute resolution
* Use commercial acumen on tenders and a variety of contracts which range from standard to typically non-standard, of medium to higher complexity, or supporting senior commercial staff on major projects or campaigns
* You will also manage your own project portfolio
Essential experience of the Senior Assistant Commercial Manager:
* Demonstrates a general commercial acumen on tenders and variety of contracts which range from standard to typically non-standard, of medium to higher complexity, or supporting senior commercial staff on major projects or campaigns
* Demonstrable experience in supporting negotiations
* Good experience influencing pricing strategy (pay, performance and incentivisation)
Essential qualifications for the Senior Assistant Commercial Manager:
* Holds university degree in relevant field or comparable work experience in a relevant role
* Accredited to, or willing to work towards IACCM (WCC) member status or higher, or MCIPS qualified

This role is 37 hours per week based at any of our main UK locations. Hybrid working patterns are available.
