EYFS Teacher – Experienced Teachers Wanted
Location: L5 Area, Liverpool
Start Date: Mid‑May
Contract: 6–8 weeks (operation leave cover, with potential to extend)
⏰ Hours: Full‑time, Monday–Friday (8:30am–3:30pm)
Role Overview
Milk Education is seeking an experienced EYFS Teacher to join a supportive, two‑form entry primary school in the L5 area of Liverpool. This role is ideal for confident practitioners with strong EYFS knowledge who can confidently lead a class and deliver high‑quality early years provision.
You will take full responsibility for an EYFS class, creating a nurturing, engaging, and well‑structured learning environment that supports children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
Classroom & School Support
1. Two‑form entry primary school within the local community
2. Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
3. Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support
4. Established and supportive EYFS and senior leadership team
Key Responsibilities
5. Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
6. Lead the classroom confidently, ensuring strong routines and expectations
7. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
8. Support and differentiate learning for pupils with SEN and additional needs
9. Observe, assess, and track pupil progress using EYFS assessment methods
10. Maintain learning journals and contribute to reporting
11. Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional development
12. Work collaboratively with colleagues, SENCO, and senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
13. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
14. Proven experience teaching within EYFS
15. Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
16. Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable
17. Confident classroom management and organisation skills
18. A caring, proactive, and reflective approach to teaching
19. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
