GSL Education are searching for an experienced Computer Science Teacher to work with schools across Sheffield, including the S5 and S9 areas, helping students develop practical skills and confidence in computing. As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that build knowledge in programming, digital literacy, and problem-solving, while creating a positive classroom where students feel supported and motivated to succeed. Key Duties: Deliver well-planned Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach key topics such as programming, algorithms, and computer systems. Encourage logical thinking and independent learning. Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work closely with colleagues to support high-quality teaching and learning. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in school setting. Strong communication and effective classroom management skills. A clear commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
