We are seeking a Salaried GP to join our team for 6 sessions per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday). The successful candidate will work closely with our GP partners and wider clinical team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality primary care.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake telephone and face-to-face consultations with a wide range of patients and health issues,
* Triage of digital health forms and requests (We currently use PATCHS as our online consultation tool, but will be switching to Blinx shortly).
* Manage urgent on-the-day demand, including participation in the triage/on-call rota.
* Conduct home visits when clinically necessary (a full driving license is required).
* Provide safe, effective and evidence-based care in line with practice policies.
* Prescribe, request and interpret investigations, and manage referrals as appropriate.
* Dealing with laboratory results.
* Contribute to QOF, enhanced services, and practice development.

About You
* GMC registered with license to practice.
* Experience in on-call/duty doctor surgeries is essential.
* Previous triage experience is highly desirable although not essential.
* Strong knowledge of EMIS and Docman.
* Clear communicator with excellent patient manner, able to balance empathy with firmness.
* Flexible and open-minded, with a collaborative approach to working within a large team.
* Experience with PATCHS or Blinx is not essential but may be advantageous.
* Full driving license and car for home visits.
* Enhanced DBS required.
