Overview
Omni-Care is an established family owned business providing in-home supports to people who are elderly or who have a serious medical condition. We employ a workforce of over 400 staff, supporting clients across metropolitan Melbourne. We are currently seeking an administrative assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Support Worker Services team who are responsible for HR activities associated with support worker performance and the delivery of excellent care. Your New Role
* Provide phone based support and advice to our care staff and escalate to other team members where required.
* Complete administrative tasks associated with maintaining support worker information in our IT system including changes to working days/hours, leave requests etc.
* Help coordinate communication with our remote workforce through existing channels, whilst assisting in researching and implementing new processes.
* Collate and review information for use in investigations and in preparation for Support Worker Mentors to conduct meetings with the team.
* Assist with activities connected with new support worker commencement.
* There is scope for bringing new ideas and involvement in other tasks.
What You Need
* Energy, enthusiasm, resilience and engagement.
* Excellent written and verbal communication with good time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
* Admin experience in a previous position, and a willingness to learn and develop in the role. Experience in the aged care sector is a bonus but not essential.
* As required in aged care work you will be required to undertake a police check.
