Job Title: Portfolio Manager Location: London Salary/Rate: 60,000 - 63,400 Start Date: As Soon As Possible Job Type: Permanent Portfolio Manager needed who enjoys working in large-scale, fast-paced environments and wants to help shape new ways of working within a major ERP transformation programme. Responsibilities: Own and manage portfolio governance activities across multiple programmes and workstreams. Develop and maintain integrated portfolio plans aligned to strategic objectives. Oversee RAID management, financial tracking, dependency management, and portfolio reporting. Produce high-quality executive dashboards and reporting packs for senior stakeholders and governance boards. Support resource forecasting, prioritisation, and capacity planning across projects. Ensure compliance with governance standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations. Drive continuous improvement across PMO processes, reporting frameworks, and portfolio tooling. Collaborate with Programme Managers, Project Managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to improve delivery predictability and risk management. Facilitate governance forums, workshops, and decision-making sessions across a diverse stakeholder landscape. Essential Skills/Experience: Proven experience in Portfolio Management or PMO leadership within both operational and transformation environments. Strong understanding of governance frameworks, financial controls, and risk management. Experience using portfolio and project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Planview, and Power BI. Ability to produce concise, executive-level reporting and dashboards. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at senior levels. Experience working within complex, multi-supplier or matrix delivery environments. Strong capability in integrated planning, prioritisation, and dependency management. Experience managing RAID processes, change control, and configuration management. Knowledge of financial, commercial, and licence management practices. Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Desirables: Experience supporting large-scale enterprise ERP transformation programmes. Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, or PMP. Previous experience within the Public Sector or similarly regulated environments.
