Role Summary
We are currently seeking a qualified and licensed Intervention Specialist to join our Columbus team. This position is focused on providing support within an inclusive classroom setting, collaborating closely with general education teachers to deliver personalized interventions that address each student's unique learning needs. The role emphasizes teamwork and cooperation to help ensure student growth and success.
Caseload and Environment
* Responsible for managing a caseload of 16 students
* Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for all assigned students
* Adhere strictly to all IEP-related deadlines, required minutes, and compliance standards
* Work primarily in a K-8 inclusive educational setting
Employment Information
* Full-time role, 40 hours per week
* Weekly payment via direct deposit
Key Duties
* Hold a valid 5-year Intervention Specialist License, including Science of Reading (SoR) endorsement
* Deliver specialized intervention services tailored to individual student needs
* Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff to implement inclusion strategies effectively
* Employ evidence-based teaching methods aligned with the Science of Reading framework
* Monitor student progress regularly and adjust support plans accordingly
* Maintain consistent and clear communication with families and the ProCare Therapy team

Qualifications
* Current Full Intervention Specialist License
* Completed training in Science of Reading
* Experience in alternative or transitional education preferred but not required
