Attendance Mentor
* Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
* Contract: Fixed Term (1 year), Part-Time (25 hours/week, 44 weeks/year)
* Salary: £18,152 – £19,471 (actual annual salary)
* Working Hours: 7:30am – 12:30pm, Monday to Friday
* Start Date: September 2025

Day-to-day of the role:
* Build strong, supportive relationships with students and their families.
* Conduct home visits to encourage and facilitate school attendance.
* Mentor students to identify and overcome challenges affecting their engagement.
* Collaborate with school staff and external agencies to support student wellbeing.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to attendance strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A full, clean UK driving licence is essential (vehicle provided).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Empathetic, resilient, and solution-focused.
* Experience working with young people or in a pastoral/support role is desirable.
* Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
