We are looking to recruit a Class Teacher to join our school.
This role is for a Class Teacher who wants to take the next step in their development who:

Purpose:
Teachers make the education of their pupils their first concern, and are accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. Teachers act with honesty and integrity; have strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and skills as teachers up-to-date and are self-critical; forge positive professional relationships; and work with parents in the best interests of their pupils. The class teacher will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow school policies and the staff code of conduct.
The duties and responsibilities of this post may vary from time to time according to the changing needs of the school. In the light of these changes, this job description may be amended from time to time following discussion between the SLT and the postholder, and will be reviewed annually as part of the Appraisal process.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
4. Achieved QTS status
5. Successful teaching experience
6. Knowledge of the National Curriculum
7. Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
8. Good subject and curriculum knowledge
9. Ability to set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
10. Ability to promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
11. Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils
12. Ability to plan and teach well-structured lessons.
13. Ability to adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.
14. Ability to make accurate and productive use of assessment.
15. Ability to manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment using a range of strategies
16. Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning
17. Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
