Purchase Ledger Clerk | £26,000 - £28,000 | Chorley + Hybrid | Full time or Part time | Fantastic culture and benefits Axon Moore are exclusively partnering a high-growth business in Chorley as they look to bolster their finance team with the addition of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk capable of hitting the ground running in a fast-paced, end-to-end Accounts Payable position. This is a permanent position and is well suited to candidates seeking both full-time and part-time hours. Either five full days, five short days/school hours, or three full days.Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Processing purchase invoices and dealing with queries
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members
* First point of contact for all complex queries
* Completing BACS and manual payments
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Assisting with audits
* Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system
* Implementing/streamlining new and existing processes
* Ad hoc duties as and when required
Required Skills and Experience:
* Good IT and MS Excel skills
* Able to build and maintain long-lasting working relationships
* Willingness to learn and succeed
* Good attention to detail and analytical skills
* Able to communicate clearly and effectively
* Able to work collaboratively and independently
