We are very proud of our community nursing service and the difference it makes to people requiring nursing care in their own home. With an increasing complexity of patients in our community, our team provides seamless holistic nursing care to ensure patients receive the right care. We are looking for an individual who can be part of our fast‑moving, innovative and ambitious teams, dedicated to supporting our communities to manage their own health both at home and in our dedicated clinics.
We are seeking 3 suitably skilled nurses to join our physical healthcare services to the resident adult population of Hucknall and Arnold in the Gedling district. Full and part‑time hours are available, with flexible working between 8 am and 8 pm over seven days.
Responsibilities
* Provide skilled nursing care to patients across the locality and work flexibly with multidisciplinary teams to support patients’ journey.
* Deliver community nursing care following a robust holistic assessment, enabling patients to be cared for in their own homes and clinic settings.
* Facilitate the prevention of unnecessary hospital admission/re‑admission by reducing the effects of ill health and disability and maximising individual potential for independence.
* Work independently in patients' homes with support always available, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Collaborate as part of a team while maintaining independence.
Qualifications
* Suitable nursing qualification and registration.
* Community experience preferred; transferable skills and academic placement experience considered.
* Excellent communication, adaptability, reliability, resourcefulness, and approachability.
* Full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use; reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Other requirements
* Applicants must pay for their DBS check (cost £26.40 standard or £54.40 enhanced) which will be deducted from salary over the first two months of employment.
* Applicants are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service (annual fee £16).
* Note: this post does not meet the pay or skill level required for a Skilled Worker visa; sponsorship is not available.
