~ Check your local transport links here: As a Chef at Sodexo in Priory Hospital Roehampton, Priory Lane, London SW15 5JJ, you'll play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals that support patient wellbeing and enhance the overall dining experience. You'll be responsible for managing your own section of the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets our high standards. Comply with all Company, hospital policies, and statutory regulations (health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH).
Support staff orientation, team training, and development.
Ensure the kitchen is clean and organised.
removing waste, checking stock, updating records).
During meal times, serve when needed, restock food from counters and steam tables, tidy up stations, and follow recipes/product instructions to estimate food requirements.
Breakdown stations at the end of meal periods or service.
Attend all required Sodexo and Priory-specific training within the correct timescale for site-specific training.
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' experience as a chef
Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen
