The aim of Social Work Resources is to promote social welfare and provide effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people in South Lanarkshire.
In partnership with community planning partners, voluntary and independent provider organisations, we offer a range of services designed to enable, support, improve, and protect the health and social care of service users.
The successful applicant will have experience caring for older people, preferably within a residential setting, and be familiar with all aspects of personal care.
You will be able to construct a person-centred support plan, implement, review, and evaluate its effectiveness for the service users you are responsible for. You will contribute to assessment and review processes and administer medicines as prescribed.
Shift and weekend working are essential.
The successful candidate is required to hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or an HNC, or be willing to work towards these qualifications.
It is a requirement that after starting the role, you progress and gain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months. You must maintain your registered status thereafter.
