Based in Chester, you will work a hybrid model. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced part qualified Management Accountant looking to join a growing business. Salary/benefits: £35-42,000pa Hybrid work with a flexible approach Excellent working location 26 days holidays increasing with length of service Job Duties: Reconciling and analysing data in the ERP system to ensure thatP&L and balance sheet are complete and accurate. Working closely with the transactional finance team Preparing all reporting issued to the business ensuring that the reporting of results meets stakeholder needs. Preparing the management accounts, including full actual to budget and prior year variance analysis with comprehensive commentary including variance analysis Developing and maintaining consistent accounting processes and controls, whilst continually looking for efficiencies and improvements. Preparing and collating budget and forecasting information and communicating effectibvely with budget owners Business partnering with the SLT team to provide financial support Facilitating and dealing with ad hoc queries from the wider business in a timely manner. Managing and providing coaching to direct and indirect reports, ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner in line with established procedures. Assist the Financial Controller and Finance Director with other project work on an ad hoc basis. Who will I report in to? Financial Controller Ideal experience Strong excel skills including handling large sets of data Strong communication and relationship building skills across all levels Self-starter with a desire to work hard. Organised approach to work and work to strict deadlines Ability to work with external advisers Part Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) ideally in the latter stages with previous management accounting experience Ability to liaise with people at all levels of seniority. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to engage non-Finance colleagues and drive change.
