Air Conditioning Engineer

This is a great opportunity to join our client on their expanding mobile contract. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to cover four commercial properties in Reading and surrounding areas. You will be following a fixed schedule of Monday - Friday, (8AM - 5PM) undergoing PPM and Reactive Maintenance, responding to emergencies and building relationships with clients. In return, you will receive a package including an electric van, internal progression, and additional training.
Duties:
1. AHUs, FCUs, Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals, Sprinkler Systems, Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc.), Tap Temperatures, Chilled Water Systems, Plumbing, Generators, Pressurisation units, BMS Operation.
2. Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of air conditioning systems such as VRVs, VRFs, Chillers, and Split units.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues to identify and implement effective solutions.
4. Perform F Gas checks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications in either Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent).
2. F gas qualification (Needed).
3. At least 3 years prior experience in commercial maintenance.
4. Great communication skills.
5. Experience with site folders, E-Logbooks, and other forms of documentation.
6. Apprentice Trained - Desirable.
Salary and Benefits:
1. £40,000 - £44,000 per annum.
