Job Title: Gaelic Language Support Worker
Salary: NLC 7 £29,180 - £31,737 (Pro Rata)
About the Role
Working within the Community Learning & Development team, you will support the delivery of CLD services, focusing on community-based Gaelic services. Your responsibilities include supporting Gaelic language classes for adult learners, aligned with the North Lanarkshire Gaelic language plan and CLD funding agreement.
Requirements and Desirable Skills
* Fluency in Scottish Gaelic is essential.
* Previous experience delivering Gaelic classes is desirable (voluntary experience is acceptable).
* A relevant qualification of SCQF level 5 or above is essential.
* An enthusiasm for Gaelic language and culture is beneficial.
Additional Information
You will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to starting.
This is a temporary position until 31st March 2026.
