If you are passionate about IP Design and have an interest in Digital Design Methodologies, then this is the right challenge for you Join us as an Infrastructure Senior Staff IP Design Engineer - our R&D team in Bristol is waiting for you In this role, you will take part of our new Infrastructure, Methodology, and Automation IP Design team, where you will be responsible for our highly reusable IP Design Modules, while contributing to all enabling activities for the IP design teams. In your new role you will: Derive Design Micro-Architecture from Architectural Specification and Requirements; Generate complex Digital IP designs as well design related documentation, taking ownership on generated parts; Be responsible for the execution of the front-end design flow - Linting, RTL synthesis and DfT insertion to prove the implementability of the design; Work on the definition of front-end digital design methodologies and flows with associated documentation. You are a true team player and an excellent communicator who can quickly establish successful cooperation with others. Even in complex situations, you keep the bigger picture in mind and make decisions confidently, even when things are uncertain. You promote an awareness for continuous quality in your area of work, conscientiously working on making things better, faster, and more efficient. You are best equipped for this task if you have: A degree in STEM (Science, Technologies, Engineering, Mathematics); At least 6 years of relevant Digital Design experience from Digital IP design; Ability to develop RTL code targeting high speed and/or low area and the understanding of how RTL will map to gate-level structures; An In-depth understanding of Digital Design Methodologies and flows; The ability to work effectively as part of a team, including clear communication of issues and progress; Fluency in English (mandatory).
