We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, high-quality Teacher of Business to join the Economics and Business Department at one of East Anglia’s foremost independent schools, which was rated as ‘Excellent’ in every category in its latest ISI inspection. The department occupies three purpose built and recently fitted rooms on the first floor of the main school, and we are very well resourced in all respects. The department comprises five teachers including a full-time Head of Department, an Assistant Head with responsibility as Head of Study Skills and the Senior Deputy Head. The department has grown due to an increase in student numbers over the past few years. The department has an excellent reputation, established through a tradition of outstanding teaching and learning. Many of our current Year 13 cohort hold UCAS offers for Economics or Business courses and progression to university courses has been a major success of the department. We find that over 50% of students in the department subsequently pursue a related subject at university.
