Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Systems Accountant / Project Manager for a leading professional services firm in Manchester, which has experienced significant growth over the past decade.
The Systems Accountant will lead system development efforts, ensuring a robust and value-adding system that enhances data accuracy and supports commercial decision-making. You will oversee ongoing projects across all systems and act as a liaison between finance and IT.
The Role
* Ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively, supporting forecasting and financial reporting with a robust, value-adding system.
* Drive continuous improvement of systems and related reporting.
* Provide training to maximize system utilization.
* Develop enhancements to continually add value.
* Lead the implementation of a new financial system for Dimensions.
* Ensure processes and procedures are documented, tested, and updated.
The ideal candidate will have an accounting background with significant experience in delivering continuous improvement projects across finance and reporting systems, and the ability to lead projects and influence senior leadership.
Candidates from a similar systems accountant role in a professional services organization with an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) are preferred, but qualified individuals by experience will also be considered.
