Description
Elemis is seeking a proactive, creative and highly organised Product Development Executive to join the Global Marketing team. As Product Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of Elemis gifting and retail marketing activations globally; managing the product development and delivery of the gifting and promotional programme. In this role, you will have a focus on gifting, brand collaboration and limited-edition propositions. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and seamless execution of gifting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Work alongside the Global Brand Manager and Gifting Consultant to plan, coordinate, and execute product development projects.
* Manage the product development and delivery of the gifting and promotional programme, with a focus on giftset, brand collaboration and limited-edition propositions.
* Conduct competitor analysis and track market trends to inform future gifting and collaboration strategies.
* Support the Global Brand Manager in the development new Elemis gifting and retail marketing propositions.
* Support cost analysis and pricing for new propositions ensuring alignment with brand commercial objectives.
* Liaise with external partners to develop product samples for gifting packaging, accessories and limited-edition promotional items, under the guidance of the Gifting Consultant.
* Develop project CPA’s and maintain project trackers to monitor progress and manage deadlines across multiple initiatives.
* Prepare project briefs to internal and external stakeholders, in particular the global marketing operations team.
* Review packaging artwork print proofs, pre-production, and production samples, coordinating stakeholder sign-off across relevant departments.
* Assist in the creation of packaging specifications and support the transit testing process to ensure quality and compliance.
* Liaise with Technical & Regulatory team to ensure gifting packaging meets industry standards and regulatory compliance.
* Support with product code creation briefing ensuring accuracy in systems and databases.
* Support with raising purchase orders, liaising with the finance team where needed.
* Ensure all gifting projects meet brand standards, including design, high quality, and sustainability criteria.
* Collect and report packaging sustainability data in line with company and B Corp commitments.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams internally and external suppliers to bring products to life.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Previous Experience and Knowledge:
* Relevant and demonstrable product development experience in gifting. Preferably in the beauty, skincare, or luxury consumer sectors.
* Excellent organisation, communication skills and budget management.
* Demonstratable experience managing timelines, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and managing projects efficiently.
* Clear and confident communication skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers and partners.
* Excellent computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Experience in skincare product development would be advantageous.
