Overview
This is a really exciting time to join our People Directorate as one of our four People & OD Business Partners. Our Business Partnering model was established in 2023, and we have been on an exciting journey of transformation. This is an opportunity to work alongside three incredible and passionate colleagues, supported by the wider People Directorate, to help take our People agenda to the next level as we aspire to be an outstanding place to work.
The People & OD Business Partner is required to work in a business-focused way in support of a designated care group. They will be required to fully understand the strategic vision and direction to diagnose and engage appropriate strategic and operational workforce and development input and support, ensuring deployment of the Trust-wide workforce strategy to make the Trust an outstanding place to work. This role is an autonomous practitioner and will require the use of workforce and OD skills, working closely with management teams and employees to improve the employee experience within the service and Trust. They will act as a conduit between the Care Groups and the HR & OD Directorate, and will ensure specialist input from members of the HR & OD Directorate to facilitate delivery of the Care Group’s business plans. They will provide insight to Associate Directors and senior managers based on workforce intelligence and reporting, and ensure action is taken where appropriate.
