We manage relationships with thousands of clients and hundreds of professional financial advice firms. We are only as strong as the people we employ. Our team of specialist staff look after SIPP and SSAS client assets worth £4bn. Our emphasis on clients means we provide personal contacts. Key Responsibilities Answering queries by phone, letter and email To meet and exceed on customer expectations whilst maintaining department service standards To provide an excellent customer service and keep our clients at the heart of everything we do Using SSAS-pro and SIPP-pro and other computer systems to check and update records including the daily work log Ensuring the scanning and digital filing is kept up to date Showing expertise and understanding to be able to deal with: Processing pension contributions Transferring benefits and/or the administration and trusteeship to/from another provider Closing/winding-up a pension account or scheme Processing new bank account and investment account applications Dealing with setting up new loans and on-going administration of these. Providing comments on member’s pension policies Providing information to third parties Dealing with property purchases, sales and leases Providing reports and information to HMRC and FCA Divorce issues Death Benefit issues Ensuring the fee management principles are adhered to Demonstrating ownership of all queries and issues raised Ensuring Compliance and SIP department processes are followed at all time Ensuring the quality of you work is of a high standard and meets the company’s standards Attending client meeting as and when required Working with your manager and as part of a team to achieve targets and respond to the team’s needs Proactively suggesting improvements to the team’s work processes, aiming to improve client service and efficiency Checking work for fellow colleagues and recognising good work Providing coaching, training and guidance to fellow colleagues and take ownership of issues identified and checking all types of work Being able to follow the complaints process and being able to overcome client’s objective and deal with difficult situations Participating in any project work Actively liaise and feedback to team manager regarding staff, technical and risk issues Supporting your manager and providing management cover as and when required Assisting with the reallocation of work with the team to cover absence and to ensuring service standards are met Displaying a positive attitude while working in a team environment – including participation at team meetings Participating in ad hoc tasks when required Essential Your Profile: Significant experience administering SSAS or SIPP schemes A positive, can-do attitude and takes pride in work Organised methodical and logical approach to portfolio management and problem solving Ability to apply a common-sense approach to situations Good time management skills Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Grade C/6 or above GCSE equivelant in Maths and English Ability to see the ‘bigger picture’ Pays attention to detail Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel and Outlook Desirable Ability to lead by example Owns problems What We Offer Enjoy a competitive salary, annual discretionary bonus, and 25 days’ holiday with buy/sell flexibility.
