We are currently looking for a Shipping Assistant to join our team in our award-winning business onsite in Auchincruive, Ayr.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Unpack and put away deliveries from courier, hauler and container using the provided functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
2. Assist with picking and delivering of in-house requisitions along with any other deliveries required i.e., samples, documents.
3. Work with the Genomics Team and other shipping staff to retrieve samples and then return once they are finished with.
4. Deal with routine stock queries, both from the Goods In and Goods Out Teams. This will include incorrect batch numbers used, missing stock items and providing feedback regarding errors.
5. Use Sage 200 and other business software to generate shipping documents for orders leaving Neogen Europe, for booking in purchase orders received, running daily reports and any other required tasks.
6. Assist with daily rotational stock takes and year end full stock takes. Continual stock management is also required, this includes but is not limited to, stock condensing, consolidating and querying discrepancies.
7. Operate forklifts, assist with the safety checks required.
8. Help keep all areas of stores and warehouse clean, tidy, and safe daily.
