Senior Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal

I’m currently working with a well-established, busy law firm in Southend-on-Sea that is looking to bring in a Senior Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal to support a Partner within their residential property team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, responsible role and is particularly confident working with figures and completion statements.
The role:
• Working closely with a Partner on a busy conveyancing caseload
• Preparing and reviewing completion statements (key focus)
• Supporting on sales, purchases, and remortgages
• Managing files from instruction through to completion
• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties
• Handling financial admin, billing, and payments
• Ensuring compliance with SRA, AML, and internal procedures
What they’re looking for:
• 5+ years’ experience in a conveyancing support role
• Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
• Confident working with financials and completion accounts
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy workload
• Comfortable supporting a Partner on time-sensitive matters
