Location: Cildewi House, Johnstown (SA31)
Salary: £14.40 - £15.00 per hour
Hours: 35 hours a week
About Cildewi House
Cildewi is located in Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales. We are very privileged to be surrounded by many historic landmarks and are within close proximity to Llanstephan Beach.
We support up to 7 adults who may have Personality Disorder, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Self Harm and eating disorders. We tailor individualised support plans to promote independence in preparation for independent living. The people we support like to access the community to complete various activities like shopping, bowling, eating out etc and have loads of fun!
Role: Mental Health Senior Support Worker
As a Mental Health Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:
* Managing a team of Support Workers
* Providing high standards of care for the people we support, in line with care and support plans
* Encouraging good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
* Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
* Liaise with health professionals and their families
* Complete supervisions and audits
* To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home
