£45,000 per annum plus uncapped commission structure with an OTE of £150,000
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive the sales of our three construction brands – Hyundai construction equipment, Mecalac dumpers, and Dieci telehandlers. This field‑based role requires a proven track record in plant, construction, or heavy equipment sales, a passion for exceeding sales targets, and the ability to build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate sales leads through effective networking, referrals, and prospecting.
* Identify, penetrate and close business opportunities, including parts and service sales.
* Prepare and follow up with quotations, ensuring timely customer payments.
* Monitor orders closely, escalating lost‑order issues to minimise financial loss.
* Consistently achieve sales and profitability targets.
* Maintain an excellent relationship with suppliers to deliver correct specifications.
* Work in harmony with the sales admin team and other departments to maximise productivity and reduce costs.
* Communicate effectively with aftersales to ensure a smooth handover of products.
* Develop a network of customer relationships with both new and existing clients.
* Maintain an accurate Rygor Plant CRM database of all customer contact details.
* Take ownership of customer concerns and pursue prompt, consistent communication to achieve resolution.
* Identify opportunities to supervise product demonstrations at selected customer sites.
